TOOLER (M / F)

The mission of the toolmaker at DEFTA is to optimize the operation of the tools required for the mass production of various metallic parts intended for the automobile industry. Depending on the nature of the parts to be produced, it is used on tools mounted on cutting presses and on fine cutting machines. In close collaboration with the production operators and their hierarchy, the toolmaker proceeds, as soon as possible, to curative maintenance of the tools indicated as defective. He also ensures in the workshop preventive maintenance (routine maintenance, fine tuning …) of the tool park for which he is responsible and keeps up to date the technical documentation specific to each tool. According to his skills, the toolmaker may also be required to carry out various machining operations of the component parts of the tool in order to make it conform to the expected production.

THE PROJECT MANAGER (M / F)

The project manager leads a project to develop or modify a product or a process. It is the interface between the client and the teams that will perform the work. Its mission is to
to transcribe as closely as possible the requirements of the customers in order to offer them a product in line with their expectations. He is in charge of the project from A to Z, from the conceptualization of the product to its launch. The project manager works closely with the tooling department to develop the production tools, but also with the production in order to judge the feasibility of the project.

MACHINE CONDUCTOR (M / F)

The machine operator performs the operations required to start up and operate these machines in compliance with the production rules (operating procedures). It controls the settings, the supply of raw materials, regularly monitors the parameters. It contributes to the continuous improvement of the performance of the production line, taking into account imperatives such as quality, lead times, production rate and cost. He regularly carries out maintenance, servicing or simple repairs. In the event of a fault, he makes a first diagnosis and intervenes himself or makes use of the maintenance service. He may be involved with supervisors and quality in the development of self-checking instructions.

EXPERT EMBROIDERY AND EXPERT ASSEMBLY (M / F)

The link between production and design, expert stamping and expert assembly are key figures in the process of industrialization. Because of their technical skills, they are able to contribute to the development of new products and their improvement by working in collaboration with R & D departments, but also with production. Based mainly on the ground, they work in collaboration with line operators to perfect the production processes and support them during the development of machines and tools, but also during nonconformities.

BUYER (M / F)

The buyer’s main task is to carry out the purchases of the group’s products by implementing the purchasing policy in order to improve competitiveness, while respecting the objectives set and the company’s sustainable development policy. To do this, it negotiates the conditions of purchases with the suppliers, in compliance with the requirements qualities, costs, delays and quantity of supply. It is the interface between suppliers, production and commercial service. It can intervene on important supplier disputes by trying to find suitable solutions.
